Definition of low pressure side
that part of a piping
system
exposed to the
pressure
of a
gas
that has been reduced below
cylinder pressure
when passed through a
pressure
regulator
. The low
pressure
side
includes the outlet chamber and diaphragm of the
pressure
regulator
as
well
as the delivery
pressure
gauge. The
term
"low pressure" in this
instance
does not imply a particular value of
pressure
