If I put a very shallow dish of water in a pan of alcohol and blow air over it by means of an electric fan, the water will freeze why??? Confused???

| The air passing over the alcohol causes it to evaporate, this takes heat from its surroundings, cooling them. The cooling effect is great enough to cool the water below its freezing point.
