How to differenciate without analysis between pure ethanol and ethanol with additive?

| the easyest ways i can think of would be smell and maybe specific gravity. Assuming the additive is easy to detect.

| additives effect the odor and color as well as the effectivenes of that ethanol in addition to the change in the bioling point

| Checking the boiling point might work. Pure substances boil at lower temperatures than mixtures.

also u can use the hydrometer to measure its density.
it will be different.
adding to its smell. it may be changed
